Rental Terms & Rules: Absolutely no pets, smoking, firearms or fireworks are allowed on the property. The home is exclusively for the guests in the rental party. No additional overnight visitors allowed. Please list of the names of the guests in your rental party to us by email prior to your stay. We need this list for insurance purposes.

There is a 50% cancellation fee if the stay is canceled after the final payment is received. Many of our bookings are made far in advance. It is difficult to re-book on short notice. 

There is a property inspection by the caretaker and cleaning service after our renters check out. The renters $695.00 deposit will be returned promptly after the property is inspected. Please take care of our home for the next renter and us. We have been renting our home for the past 5 years and have never had to hold back a deposit. Our guests have been wonderful.  

Guests shall allow homeowners or caretaker access to the property for the purposes of repair or emergency service. Our caretaker lives nearby and his phone number is posted in the house if you have a maintenance emergency. You can also call us 630-366-1125 for maintenance emergencies.

Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Linens and bath towels are included in the rental. Our home will be immaculate when you arrive. Do not remove bath towels or linens from the premise. Remember to bring beach towels, toiletries and hairdryer.

 Important: Do not put sandy towels or clothes in the washer or dryer. If you use our grill please clean it for the next renters before you leave. Do not flush paper towels feminine or diaper products down the toilets. We provide toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, additional paper plates and napkins.

Our fully stocked kitchen includes: dish service for twelve, pots, pans, bake-ware and cooking utensils. Electrics include: Both Keurig and regular 14 cup coffee maker, toaster, blender, griddle and crock pot. It is the renter’s responsibility to clean and put away all kitchen equipment. Renters are to load all dishes into the dishwasher and run before departure. Take or dispose of all food in the refrigerator and cabinets.

By signing this agreement, you are indemnifying the homeowner from any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while you and your guests are staying on the premises. The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to visit the premise
