In the beautiful town of Sister Bay, Wisconsin, Maple Manor stands as one of the villages most distinct homes. It is conveniently located in town just a few blocks from the beach, shops, restaurants, library, fire department and marina. After a stay at Maple Manor you will understand why Maple Manor is the most popular rental home in Sister Bay.
Our home was formerly the Sister Bay Baptist Church. The property was donated to the church in 1882 by J.J. Wiltse and the first church was built. In 1916 the original church was demolished and the congregation built a new church on the site. In 1975 the Baptist church built a new church on rte. 42 in sister Bay. The old church was sold and remained vacant until 2001 when we purchased it. We immediately began the task of gutting and completely renovating the church to be a second home for our family. We maintained the exterior appearance of the church but as the photos show the interior has completely changed.
This year-round home was a second home for our family. We have had many happy memories here but, as our children grew older they couldn't come here as often. We began renting the home by the day when we were not using it. Maple Manor currently rents with a three day minimum. We have been fortunate to be able to rent steadily when we are not using it for family vacations.
Maple Manor will be available for rentals year-round beginning in the spring of 2018.
Our renters have been fantastic and have taken excellent care of the house. Our home has been kept immaculate. Many are repeat renters. Our home is rented for family gatherings, retreats, clubs and group getaways. The maximum limit is 12 people.
